A diversidade do estilo de agricultura familiar ecológica em Canguçu/RS e os momentos da transição para a agricultura ecológica

This article aims to analyze the emergence of different styles of agriculture, resulting from an incomplete process of modernization of the rural environment in the municipality of Canguçu, located in the eastern portion of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. It also intends to expose the directions and developments of emerging ecological family farming style, since its origins, and the main characteristics over time. It was identified that the decision-making of the conventional or traditional farmer for another productive system based on "ecological" management can have different starting points. It also shows, as results of the research, the bonds of the producers with different moments of expansion of the movement, then called "alternative".
