Abstract

Revista IDeAS is pleased to publish another interview of our special series that aims to promote dialogue with researchers who are dedicated to studies on the rural world in its multiple interfaces. Our interviewees were advised by Dr. Raimundo Santos (in memoriam), professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society (CPDA), at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Raimundo was remembered based on his academic trajectory, his exile, his insertion to the CPDA and his contributions to Brazilian social thought, mainly to the rural world, besides to highlight his analysis of political situations.
